Refund policy

What is your return policy?

We design our products with care and intention, and we hope they feel right in your space. If for any reason your Monkey and Pebbles purchase isn’t the right fit, eligible items may be returned for a refund in accordance with the conditions outlined below.

Return shipping fees:

  • Canada: A flat-rate $9.99 CAD return shipping fee per order will be deducted from your refund.

  • United States: A flat-rate $14.99 USD return shipping fee per order will be deducted from your refund.

Being a small business, we keep return fees simple with a flat rate — it helps us cover shipping costs across Canada and continue creating thoughtfully designed products at fair prices.

Eligibility & Conditions:

  • Returns must be received within 30 days of the order date.

  • Acrylic planner products must be unused, in like-new condition, and returned in their original packaging and original shipping box.

  • Kiyomi cutting boards can only be returned if the box is sealed and unopened. As these are food-related products, we cannot accept returns once the package has been opened. If you believe your cutting board is defective, please contact us and we will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.

  • Final sale / clearance items are not eligible for return or refund. These items will be clearly marked as Final Sale on the product page.

  • Items returned in used, damaged, or incomplete condition may be refused or may be subject to a partial refund, at our discretion.

  • At this time, we only accept returns from addresses within Canada and the United States.


How to return an item by mail:

  1. Please email us at hello@monkeyandpebbles.com to request a return.

     Please include:

    • Your order number (MP-XXXX)

    • The product(s) you wish to return

    • The reason for the return

  2. Once approved, a return shipping label will be emailed to you.

    • Print and affix the label to the package, ensuring it fully covers the original shipping label.

    • Returns may be shipped via Canada Post, UPS, or Purolator.


Refund Policy:

  • Refunds are issued to the original form of payment.

  • Refunds include the price paid for the item(s) and any applicable sales tax charged on the item(s).

  • Original shipping fees and sales tax on shipping are non-refundable.

  • Please allow up to 3 business days for returns to be processed once received. 

  • After the refund is issued, allow an additional 3–5 business days for the funds to appear on your payment account.

  • In the event of a fulfillment error or defective product, please contact us and we’ll make it right.


Exchanges:

We currently don’t offer exchanges. Handling returns and new orders separately helps us process everything accurately and efficiently.
